Introduction to Drone Programming with Droneblocks

This course will demonstrate basic programming concepts and walk students  through examples of autonomous flight.

Students will learn Block, Python, and JavaScript coding by executing their code on small indoor friendly Tello drones that will fly autonomously indoors.

This course is limited to 10 places.

COST & APPLICATION

This is a free course delivered in association with the Augusta Margaret River Shire and the RISE program. 
It is open to permanent residents of the Augusta Margaret River Shire.

At the end of the day there will be an obstacle course competition.

Prerequisites

No prior knowledge is required but a basic understanding of scratch or similar block coding apps would be useful.

 

What will be provided 

  • All of the drones and computers needed for the course will be provided.
  • A light lunch will be provided. Please indicate dietary requirements at enrollment.

What you need to bring.

  • An inquisitve mind!
  • A water bottle
